1/2 cup (115 grams)butter
1/2 cup (60 grams)white sugar
1/2 cup (100 grams)brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup (95 grams)flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup (70 grams)rolled oats
Preheat oven to 350* (gas mark 4 177 C or mod to med heat oven) Cream together the butter and sugars. Blend in the egg and vanilla. Then stir in the dry ingredients until well blended. Roll into balls and place on greased cookie sheets. Bake for 12 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
